Wrap dress with button closure

Additional info:

• EU 46, I added two inches to the fabric fold in the back.
  
• Recommended Fabrics : Lightweight like viscose or cotton.
  
• Featured in Burda February 1955

The fabric

• Linen with a 'Van Gogh's Almond Blossom' print
• Stripe cotton.

Pattern instructions

The booklet was missing, so I had to make due. It is not a difficult sew though.

Fit

For a '50's outfit I figured to add some extra to fit around the waist. The bust and hip sizes seem sufficient. If you are an apple shape like me, always double check the waist measurements in '50 patterns.

Conclusion

Lovely first try in a true vintage pattern. Will definitely make more intricate patterns. Love this skirt and the accompanying  top. Will also make a 'full dress' in the future.
