Hey everybody. Welcome to the browse through of my oldest Burda magazine: February 1955.

Click on the pictures to enlarge them.

The issue.

Burda moden February 1955
sewing and knitting patterns
1,70 German Mark.
Includes children's patterns, two men's patterns and plus size patterns

So as with the magazines from the 80's these patterns are also available in one or maybe two sizes. Plus sizes are more regular than in other magazines though. Where in the 80's en modern magazines there will be a separate selection, in this magazine they are on the same level as regular sizes.
In the brackets on what pattern sheet number the patterns are.

Some extra models that are not on the sheets, but need to be paid for separately.

Different children's models in different sizes and for different genders.

Sadly I only got pattern sheet 1 and 2 and no instructions. Lets see how we will pull this off.

The must-makes.
Easy... everything, right?
Sadly K8256 is on pattern sheet 4, but I might make something similar as I do have:
If I would make simplicity 8452 longer, I think it will end up looking like the dress above.
Sadly dress 8305 is also on pattern sheet 4. But the next dresses are on the pattern sheet I do have.
Blue dress K8255 on pattern sheet 1, size 44/46
Dress K8299 on sheet 2; size 42/44
Dress K8303 on sheet 2; size 46/48
