Sew-along: My Image #19: M1963 shirtdress -yellow dress

This is the yellow version of the pink shirt dress. You can find more info in the sew along here: sew along pink dress

The pattern

• High waisted shirtdress with buttons. Princess seams run down to the skirt. Skirt falls halfway on the lower legs and the sleeves fall a bit above the wrists. Made from 11 different parts.

The fabric

100% cotton of Yesfabric.eu. It has a weight of 100 gr/m2, which is fairly lightweight and it is a bit seethrough.

Sewing

Because a little bit more ease was requested, I sew in a different order. I sew the top back, the top front, bottom back and the bottom front. Then the top to the bottom. This way it is easier to align all the seams.

I used 10 buttons on the dress.

Pattern alterations
This is the original length. The sleeves are a bit shorter.
