Pattern review: My Image #19: M1963 shirtdress

The pattern

• High waisted shirtdress with buttons. Princess seams run down to the skirt. Skirt falls halfway on the lower legs and the sleeves fall a bit above the wrists. Made from 11 different parts.

• Recommended Fabrics : Lightweight like viscose, polyester-elastan or viscose-elastan.

The fabric

100% cotton of Yesfabric.eu. It has a weight of 100 gr/m2, which is fairly lightweight and it is a bit seethrough.

Pattern instructions

Instructions in magazines are always minimal, but in this case there are picture instructions available that are especially helpful for the collar. The rest of the dress is pretty self explanatory.

Pattern alterations
Cut it 12 inches shorter. Opened the sleeves for the last 4 inches.

Conclusion

I love this shirt dress. Have nearly finished my sisters yellow version.
