Design with me: vintage boy coat. Part two: line art.

I am using a basic Raglan style pattern from my stash. I am aming for a size 92 to wear next winter.

Consider before altering.

• Length of the coat. Perhaps you want the coat to be longer or shorter.
• Length of sleeves.
• Ease. If you use a T-shirt pattern, there might not be enough wearing ease to wear over cloths. Pershaps size up.
• Outline, is it a straight, fitted or A-line silhouette.

Changing front.

• I want an openin in the front and the left side should be the outer layer.
• I am adding welt pockets.
• I am adding a collar.
• The height of the collar is a half of the overlap.
• Buttons above waistline

 Changing back.

• Add a vent
• Add a center seam to make vent
