Pattern review: Violet Field Threads: Ruthie dress

 

 

Some linnen scraps that are perfect rectangular shaped. They are long enough for a dress so I want to turn these into babydoll dresses.

The pattern

Ruthie is a gorgeous baby doll style top or dress. The slim band bodice features shoulder ties that secure in the back and allow for an adjustable fit. Ruthie has a button back bodice fit.

• 2-10yo (US). I'll make a 8yo

The fabric

• ca 0,8 meter white linen
  
• ca 0,5 meter blue linen
  
• Some scraps for straps
  

Cutting the fabric.

It is competely made from rectangular shapes. I used scraps for the straps.

Instructions:

Very well and picture guided. 

Fit:

I made it a bit large and added some elastic in the band,

Conclusion:

Great for scraps.
