Sewing planning: LMV #6-2020 Nick/Noel trousers
The idea
I NEED to make Christmas pajamas this year. Us adults do not really wear pajamas so I thought some joggers and a shirt would be more practical. I looked through my stash for garments for men/women and children that would be similar to each other. I remembered my two La Maison Victor issues to have twinning boys/men shirts and trousers. Those are perfect for my pajamas.
- 2,8 m dark grey French Terry through www.tricotstoffen.nl/
- 0,5 m cuff fabric
- 2,5 m black elastic 4cm wide
- 4 m black cord
(Nick: adults) What are dreams made of? Being nice and comfy, yet elegantly dressed at the party. We made a trousers pattern that has all the advantages of jogging bottoms and that you can also make in a nicely fitted check fabric. The model has an elastic waist, side pockets and a lovely piped pocket on the back.
(Noel: kids) These easy-fitting trousers with pockets in the side seam can be worn in both a sporty and dressed up style. Combine these trousers with a jumper for a casual look, or with a cardigan if you would rather create a more formal look. You can make the Nick trousers to twin with your dad, uncle or godfather!
