Pattern review: LMV #6-2020 Nick/Noel trousers

So a request for joggers quickly turned into matching joggers. Combined with a twinning shirt in a christmas fabric and we have practical, comfortable christmas pajamas. I omitted the fake welt pocket in the back and made the pockets from french terry in stead of lining.

The pattern

(Nick: adults) What are dreams made of? Being nice and comfy, yet elegantly dressed at the party. We made a trousers pattern that has all the advantages of jogging bottoms and that you can also make in a nicely fitted check fabric. The model has an elastic waist, side pockets and a lovely piped pocket on the back.

(Noel: kids) These easy-fitting trousers with pockets in the side seam can be worn in both a sporty and dressed up style. Combine these trousers with a jumper for a casual look, or with a cardigan if you would rather create a more formal look. You can make the Nick trousers  to twin with your dad, uncle or godfather!

The instructions
Very, LMV is a magazine with 'only' 12 patterns, but the instructions are very elaborate and very suitable for beginners. Magazine always includes kids and mens patterns as well and are very size-inclusive.

Fit:

kids: 92-176 (2yo-16yo)- I made a 104 (4yo) and is a bit longer than other size 104's I made
mens XS-XXXL: I made a XXL without looking at a sizing chart. It's a bit more oversized than I would have guessed, but completely my fault for not checking size charts.

Conclusion
Great basic patterns. I love the extra details on the men's trousers to make it a bit more dressed up. Will look very nice in a thinner dressier fabric as well.
