PATTERN REVIEW: KNIPKIDS #2/2021: TOP 28 V2 and 3

 

I made this top last year for my girl and saw that it could perfectly be worn as a dress as well. 

The pattern

Top closes in the neck with a bow. Short sleeves.

Additional info:

• 134-176 (EU) (9-16) years. This will be size 134 (9y; icecream fabric) and 146 (11; flower fabric).

The fabric

• ca 0,5 jersey in bright icecreams (size 134)
• ca 0,7 jersey white with bright flowers (size 146)

Cutting the fabric.

The icecream fabric had a bit of a imperfect shape for the dress. I cut one backpart with an extra seam. The collar also has a extra seam, but I could pattern match this one. 

 

Instructions:

Fairly okay for a magazine. 

Fit:

I think the tops will fit at that age as they are designed to be a bit oversized. Because of the color, it will fit as a dress as well. 

Conclusion:

These versions have a snap in the back as ribbons are gorgeous, but a bit impractical.

Other versions
