Sew along: Naaitrends 4: kids dress
The idea
All these scraps just ask to be made into summer garments.
The pattern

Additional info:
- 4-6 or 8 yo (EU) - I'll make a 4yo.
- Recommended fabrics: cottons, linens
- Not rated,
- Patrones Pattern issued in Naaitrends (NL-version) #4
- (pattern sheet also says naehtrends #7/2018 and Couture Actuelle #11)
- ca 0,5 meter blue cotton
- ca 0,5 meter cotton eyelet
Cutting the fabric.
The bodice is cut twice, the sleeve once. The front and the back of the skirt are cut on the fold. The side skirts are cut in two pieces as the scalloped hem was to short.

| Sew shoulders of bodice and lining. |

| Sew neckline from bodice and lining. |
 |
| Trim seam allowance, turn and press well. Sew front and back skirts to bodice. |

| Option 1: insert sleeves into the side, then the side skirt. |
 |
| Version two. Sew side skirt first then insert sleeves. Sleeve is sewn closed halve way to the notch. |
 |
| Side skirt inserted. Opening left for sleeve. |
 |
| In picture left option 1, in picture right option 2. Option 2 gave a better result. |
