Pattern instructions

As with every magazine, not that elaborated, but sufficient. The instructions are written for wool felt that doesn't need to be hemmed, so the instructions do not ask for seam allowances for hemming. You WILL need to add these seam allowances if you use a fabric that does need to be hemmed.

Fit

Being very oversized I made two sizes smaller and tucked in the back.

Conclusion

Very easy, quick sew.
It is great for a beautiful fabric or pattern as you don't cut it up much.
But it is a bit shapeless. If a boxy pattern looks good on you then this is the one. Otherwise use a belt or gather a bit in the back to shape it more.
I thought about adding buttons to the front, but that will make it to 'stiff'. It looks better open, so use a fabric that looks good on the inside too.
