The pattern

It looks like a skirt but it's shorts. Shorts with a wrap over front. An easy item to make and nice to wear. You make it from a nice scrap and wide decorative elastic at the waist. She steps right into it because of that; a zipper is not necessary!

The fabric

• ca 0.65 m cotton with mermaid print
  ca 0.6 m cotton with flower print (blue and yellow
  ca 0.6 m cotton with vintage floral print

Cutting the fabric.

with the pocket the frontpieces are different. I cut them on the fold and cut the pocket afterwards.

Instructions:

Instructions in magazines are never very elaborate. I usually go by numbered notches and seams.

Looks on point.
