Pattern review: Little lizard king; Sedona version 3
The pattern
The Sedona pattern is a relaxed fit, babydoll, dolman style top/dress.
The front bodice is v-shaped and the back bodice is scooped. The Sedona
has no closures and slips over the head. (description of site, but don't
forget to add a zipper yourself)
Additional info:
- 12m - 14Y, this is a size 10.
- Recommended fabrics: knits and wovens
- Rated very easy
- Little Lizard King - OOP (out of print)
The fabric
- ca 1.0 meter viscose with embroided feathers as main fabric
- ca 1,0 meter viscose as lining (including skirt)
Cutting the fabric.
As the fabric was so thin I also lined the skirt with a viscose. Also, I added a zipper in the back because you can not put it on or off without one.
LLK offers very elaborated picture-guided instructions with their patterns and are very suitable for beginners.
Fit:
is a bit oversized it seems. I cut the largest size possible from this fabric.
Conclusion:
Love it in a wildprint
