PATTERN REVIEW: LITTLE LIZARD KING; LAUREL DRESS; FREE PATTERN (v4,5,6)

 

The idea

My friend is having her third baby about the same time as I have my second. She has two girls and the oldest is about the same age as my girl.

The pattern

Dress with wide straps, four sleeve options, four skirt options, two (lined) bodice options

The fabric

• ca 1.5 meter jersey with print
  
• ca 1,5 meter jersey solid color
• small scrap piece for lining one dress
• These include the two baby outfits 
  

Cutting the fabric.

I played with the color combinations and the pattern pieces. From 3 meter I got 5 outfits. The dresses are sleeveless and that saves some fabric. I cut the lining of the dress size 6 from a different print. 

Instructions:

LLK has very elaborate instructions very suitable for the beginning seamstress, with general sewing tips on different stitches, costum sizing andsoforth

Fit:

Is as expected. Size 7 is a bit big, but she get the most wear out of it. I know size 6 and 7 are like expected. Don't have experience on size 4
