Pattern review: self drafted; gathered skirt

 

That is a good use for a piece of scrap. Quickly made and lovely.

The pattern

Gathered skirt with elastic waistband. 

Additional info:

• Cut to size, I use a waistband size from a 116 legging. 
• Recommended Fabrics : all scraps, knits or wovens
• Easy
• Self drafted

The fabric

• ca 0,2 meter eyelet jersey from stoffentijd.nl

 Instructions:

It is a rather narrow tube, the short side sewn together as a back seam. An elastic waistband sewn to it. No hem

Fit:

A good soft, stretchy but well recovering waistband is necessary. It is sold as pajama elastic, so it does just that.

Conclusion:

Lovely use of this gorgeous piece of scrap.
