Sew Along: Ottobre #3/2020; Shirt 16

 

The idea

For my girl's fancy skirts I need some (fairly) neutral tops. This icecream fabric changes color in the sun.

The pattern

Shirt with cut on sleeves. Contrasting neckbinding, sleeve cuffs and pocket. 

Additional info:

• 92-128 (EU) - 18 m - 8yo. I will make size 110. 
• Recommended Fabrics : Jersey knits

The fabric

• ca 0,4 meter fabric, cotton jersey with print that changes in the sun. (about 0,5 x 1,0 meter)

Cutting the fabric

I cut the two pieces on the cross grain, making the remaining piece of fabric a rectangular (measuring 1,0 x 1,0 meter). It makes the remaining piece much easier to use in something else.
