Sew along: self drafted; gathered skirt

The idea

Scraps left from a skirt I bought (uni yellow cotton) and a cotton jersey (with suns) are perfect for a gathered summer skirt.

The fabric

• ca 0,4 meter fabric, cotton jersey from familyfabrics.nl
  
• ca 0,6 meter fabric, cotton from store bought skirt.
  

Cutting the fabric.

After cutting a dress from the jersey I was left with a rectangular piece. The uni yellow fabric is half of a skirt left over after making a dress. I played with the pieces until I was happy with them.
