Sew along: Knipkids #2/2021: Top 28

The idea

I had this beautiful cotton jersey with suns on it. Although my girl has enough dresses for this summer I thought I could make this top and have it worn as a dress for now. For the bow in the back I will use the hem of a yellow skirt I bought that was to small

The pattern

Top closes in the neck with a bow. Short sleeves.

Additional info:

• 134-176 (EU) (9-16) years. This will be size 134.

The fabric

• ca 0,6 meter fabric, cotton jersey from familyfabrics.nl
  
• ca 1,5 meter ribbon (here the hem of a yellow skirt.
  

Cutting the fabric.

I omitted the waistband as I want it to be a straight dress/top. I didn't put the sleeves crossgrain (as suggested) and was able to squeeze it from 0,6 m fabric.
