Pattern review: Knippie 05/2018: Baby overalls

 

I love these overalls, they are warm and comfy and absolutely practical with the long cuffs and socks on the legs. 

The pattern

Overalls with A-symetrical zipper. Legs have a flap in the back that can be folded to cover feet. Sleeves are extra long. Hoodie. 

 

Additional info:

• 44-74 (EU) (Premie to 9MO - US). I'll make a size 74

The fabric

• 0,8 meter outer layer (red and blue are wool; pink is fleece)
  
• 0,8 meter lining (jersey)

Instructions:

Instructions are okey. I added lining to the bodice, so I went my own way. Originally the pattern asks for lining in the hoodie only.

Fit:

Can't really say anything about that, but looks to be a good fit. The cuffs make it a bit user friendly.

Conclusion

Love it. I made three versions as I didn't know if I would become an aunt of a baby niece or nephew. My niece will get the pink one. Friends are having a boy so the red version will be stored. 

Made some mathing bags.
