Sew Along: Knipmode #6/2020: dress
The idea
I want to make a summery short dress with gathered layers from double gauze, and yes... I did see that on Pinterest.
The pattern
Open back, wrap dress
Additional info:
- 34-54 (EU) , I'll make a 48
- Recommended fabrics: cotton's
- 2,5/4
- Knipmode 6/2020
- ca 2 meter double gauze
Cutting the fabric.
I will cut the front and back and the waistband of the pattern. The remainder of the fabric will be cut in 6 strips, 2 for the top tier and 4 for the bottom tier. |
| Pleating under the bust in the lining and main fabric |

| Sew one side seam and sew lining to main fabric (except the bottom and the shoulder straps. |

| Will look like this. |

| Do for both sides and wrap the right over the left parts. |
 |
| Shoulder openings could be neater if you do these first and then topstich. |
 |
| Add two tiers of gathered fabric. |
