Sew along: Gerties sews jiffy dresses: The swirl dress

 

The idea 

Another vintage style dress for me, it is a wrap dress from the back, Oh yeah.

The pattern

Book with two parts. Part one is an elaborate introduction to sewing. Part two contains the wardrobe. 

There are five main patterns and a couple of variations on those patterns.

 

Additional info:

• 2-16 (US) but is different to big 4 sizing. My big 4 size 22 should be a size 16.

• 2,8 meter viscose linnen mix through bottger.nl
  

Cutting the fabric.

I had 3 meter so enough fabric. I was left with 2 scraps of 60x60 cm.
