The idea

How about a lovely summer romper for me? I'll make a wearable muslin in double gauze. If it is a hit, I'll make one in a scuba and a wax as well.

The pattern
You can't go wrong with a romper. This summer equivalent to a jumpsuit is an entire outfit in one easy to choose garment! Our Sollya Romper features a fitted waist, slightley puffed sleeves and pleated shorts for the perfect fit.

Cutting the fabric.
This pattern takes a lot of fabric, especially the trouser parts are pretty big parts.
Waistband is made from 7 parts (the middle part is on the fold).

Four seams in the waistband line up with the pleats, two with the side seams and the seventh is for the zipper.

Front parts are gathered.

Pleats in the trousers

Insert sleeves.

Sleeves are finished with bands,

Hem on the trousers.
