Sew along: Smospotten en snoesjes: Free Bunny Bomber

 

The idea

I saw this great FREE!!! pattern on the internet and I had to sew it. It is actually three in one pattern, there is a sweater and a hoodie option as well.

The pattern

Bomber option with low inset sleeves, cuff fabric collar. Option for a sweater or a hoodie.

Additional info:

• 92-152yo (EU) 2-12y (US). I make a 104 (4yo).

The fabric

• 0,6 cotton knit with sommerflowers. From Rijstextiles bought at stoffen-online.nl
• 0,6 cotton knit in color vintage pink by Budgetstoffen.nl
• 0,2 cotton knit in color white by Budgetstoffen.nl
• ca 30 cm cuff fabric.

(for the pink and the flower knit I also could make a pair of leggings from the same piece of fabric

Cutting the fabric.

This is a great pattern for scaps and smaller pieces of fabric.

Nice combination

Like suggested in the pattern I will make the pockets 35 mm longer so they can be stitched to the waistband.

Sewing around making the front and pockets.

Folding front opening.

Sew shoulders

Insert sleeves and sew underarm/side seam

Add waistband

Add cuffs

Add collar
