Sew along: Marion 01/1967 jumper

The idea

What to do with halve a meter of fabric. How about some vintage patterns. This burgundy French terry will be a jumper.

The fabric

• 0,5 meter burgundy French Terry
  

The pattern

Jumper with crossed straps on the back.

• Recommended fabrics: cottons

Cutting the fabric.

I was able to cut the pattern on the grain, but had to cut the bib and the straps in two parts. 

Had to cut the bib in two parts.

Sew the center front and back chains.

Adding pockets (from a scrap jersey)

Sewing inner seam and outer seam of the legs.

sewing bib and straps. I think I will need to add elastic in the waist.

Pockets are life.

Love it.
