Sew along: Burda 7/2020 126 blouse - finished 21-10

 

Cutting the pattern

I used three pieces for this pattern, the front, the back and a back facing. The original pattern asks for another rectangular piece as a tunnel and another rectangular piece for the waist straps. I omitted the waistband as I wanted to wear either my own belt, or wear it under a skirt. I made the dress a bit shorter since I wanted to get another girl's dress out of the two meter as well.

 

Sew the back facing to the back.

Finish the cut on, waterfall facing of the front.

Sew shoulder seams, sew side seams, finish arm openings and hem.

I love the waterfall front.
