pattern review: B*trendy #9; 1759 (butterfly) tunic

I love this tunic very much. It is warm, comfortable and very practical for the coming fall. The pattern sewed pretty quickly and straightforward. I love the butterflies and the colors of the fabric.

The pattern
Tunic with raglan sleeves, turtleneck, 2-piece sleeves and kangaroo pocket.

Additional info:
  • 92-176 (EU)   CA 2yo - 16yo (US)
  • Recommended fabrics: Fleece, jogging.
  • Rated 3/6
  • B*trendy #9 or download here: madebyoranges.nl

The fabric

Jersey with watercolor butterfly print through: familyfabrics.nl

Together with my bolero it took a bit more than 1 meter of butterfly fabric and 1,5 meter of solid.

Pattern instructions

Pattern is not very difficult, but instructions are fairly comprehensive.

Fit
I made a size 104 (4yo) and it is not as big as my other 4yo garments. I think in a jersey it will still fit for a while, but I would size up if I would make this pattern again.

Conclusion

I love the tunic. I think this will not be the last version.
