Sew along: My Image #14: top 1707 Senja dress

Cutting out the pattern.

This is a very quick sew. For the top I need two parts, a back and a front. The remainder of the fabric will be used as a wrap skirt.

Lining from crepe satin.

Attaching the straps, wrong side straps facing right side lining.

Finished. I will cut the lining a bit shorter so the fabric can flow a bit more free.

The rest of the fabric was cut in a rectangular piece. One selvage had a border print, so that was going to be the bottom. In the top I sew a tunnel for an elastic band.
