Sew along: Burda 02/2021; wrapdress

 

 

The idea

My beautiful yellow gathered skirt on sale was sadly to small for me. I cut the waistband, ironed out the gathers and was left with some beautiful fabric. I decided to make a wrap dress for my girl.

The pattern

Sleeveless wrap dress. 

Additional info:

• 116-140 (EU) (6-10) years. This will be size 116. 
  
• Recommended Fabrics : Jeans or other wovens

The fabric

• ca 0,6 meter fabric, cotton from a skirt I bought
  

Cutting the fabric.

I was surprised it took only half the skirt fabric. I used a seamline from the side of the skirt as a fold. So there is a factory made seam on the back.
