Pattern review: B*Trendy #7; dress 1659

 

I love this dress. Again it's a bit too big, but the Winter is still long. I love the gathered sleeves, the bishop sleeves. and the warm neck.

Romantic dress calls for staring in space.

Because of the cuffs, the sleeves will always fit. The sleeves puff up a bit more then designed, but I like it.

The pattern

Midlength dress with somewhat of a bishop sleeve. Zipper in the back.

The fabric

cotton knit bought at stoffenspektakel. The brand is Quinty's Closet

Pattern instructions

The instructions are fairly complete. They gave the sizes of the skirt in stead of drawing it out. The front piece is cut on the fold, the back pieces have a seam in the back. It took a while to find out the given measurements were for a complete skirt and the skirt pieces on the fabric lay-out were half those measurements.

 

Fit

It's a bit big, but I really love the fit. The design of the sleeves make for a good fit even if it's a bit big.

 

Conclusion 

Gorgeous dress. She will grow into it I'm sure.
