Cutting out the pattern

I had some remnants left from a previous dress and with some creative folds I made it work.

Also pockets....

The tunnel for the elastic is made from three parts. The middle part is the part for the elastic. Sew the sides.

Sew along the elastic with a stretch stitch.

 

 Back skirt, right side up. Back bodice right side down.

 

Tunnel rightside down.

 

The seam allowance of the bottom of the tunnel is folded inside and topstitched in place 

Sew side seams and shoulder seams. Finish the arm openings, neck opening and hem.
