front and back piece, but I altered the back to have a crotch curve as it was supposed to be on the fold. I have never done this and was a bit hessitant to do this. 

Instructions:

They don't give measurements or pattern pieces for the elastic waist. Instead they say to measure the waist at your kid.

Fit:

As expected

Conclusion:
I really like double gauze for kids wear.
