Pattern review: Marion 07/1969; dress

 

The idea

In good fashion I am starting the year of with some vintage patterns. This one is from 1969

The pattern

Dress has a rectangular princess seam, darts on the shoulder back, A-line skirt,cuffs and a peter pan collar. Cap is from dress size 5.

• 6 yo. Pattern was available for purchase in other sizes. Cap is size 5

The fabric

• ca 1,0 meter fabric, poplin
  

Cutting the fabric.

Fabric lay-outs are provided but everything is pretty straightforward. 

 

 

 

Instructions:

Non existent. There are fabric lay-outs.

Fit:

I used a elastic band in the back by eyeing it. Next time I would do this a bit differently.

Conclusion:

Does it look very vintage?
