Sew along: LMV #6-2020 Nick trousers
The idea
After these joggers were a great hit with my DH he practicaly begged me to make another version. A light grey version it is this time
The fabric
- 1,5 m dark grey French Terry through www.textielstad.nl/
- 0,2 m cuff fabric
- 1 m black elastic 2,5 cm wide
The pattern
(Nick: adults) What are dreams made of? Being nice and comfy, yet elegantly dressed at the party. We made a trousers pattern that has all the advantages of jogging bottoms and that you can also make in a nicely fitted check fabric. The model has an elastic waist, side pockets and a lovely piped pocket on the back.
Additional info:
- XXS-XXXL - this is a XXL
- Recommended fabrics: middle-heavy woven and knitted fabrics. wool, French terry or jogging fabric
- Rated 2/4 (Nick; has a fake welt pocket in the back)
- La maison Victor #6-2020
Cutting the fabric
I left out the fake welt pocket, the side pockets and the cords, making it a 2-hour sew in total. It is two front parts, two back parts and a waistband.
I kept the faux fly placket. |
Sew center front and back seams, sew side seams. |
Add waistband and elastic. |
And another pair of joggers finished. |
