pattern review: B*Trendy #7; eyelet dress 1659

  

 The pictures do not show how gorgeous the dress is. It is so lovely on her. It flows and dances around her. She looks like an absolute dream in it.

 

The pattern

Midlength dress with somewhat of a bishop sleeve. Zipper in the back.

The fabric

Eyelet jersey. Its very drapery and bought through stoffentijd. I cut this dress and mine out of 2 meter of fabric.

Pattern instructions

 The instructions are fairly complete. They gave the sizes of the skirt in stead of drawing it out. The front piece is cut on the fold, the back pieces have a seam in the back. It took a while to find out the given measurements were for half the circumference and the skirt pieces on the fabric lay-out were half those measurements. The names and sizes for the rectangular pieces are mixed up. 

Fit

A size 4 is a bit big, but in this stretchy fabric it is not a big problem. I do want to make the cuffs larger next time. 

Conclusion 

I might buy a lot more of this fabric. It is gorgeous.
